ARIZONA BILTMORE WEDDING LIGHTING
An Arizona Biltmore Wedding is truly a classic experience! The iconic Frank Lloyd Wright architecture of the Arizona Biltmore is simply dramatic and elegant – especially when you add light to it! The arched ceiling in the Gold Room and brick columns really showcase uplighting. The best place for a monogram is on the dance floor in most of these rooms since there is not a flat central wall. However, the Grand Ballroom does have perfect walls in the back of the room for a monogram. It is still clearly visible all night long. Centerpiece pin spotting is always a perfect touch to any wedding but especially for an Arizona Biltmore Wedding since the florals are usually just as classic and iconic as the architecture. Therefore you want to make sure you can see them all night! If you’re having a ceremony in Cottage Court after dark then you’ll definitely need uplighting on the palm trees, front spotlight on the ceremony, and chuppah (if you have one). In the winters, it gets dark early in Arizona so if your cocktail or reception is outside in the Paradise Garden then you’ll want some extra lighting out there as it gets very dark. Area wash lights, pin spots and pattern washes like in the photos below are a perfect way to illuminate the area while still adding some decor to your event.
